CIIMAR E-Mail on GMAIL Account

To be able to receive CIIMAR emails on your G-Mail account or other similar web clients here’s the configuration steps:

• At G-Mail go to Preferences > Accounts and Import
• Click on Add email account (Next to Consult other Accounts)

Next, you’ll need the following information to the Incoming emails:

• Your institution email address
• Incoming server: mail.ciimar.up.pt (Port 995 – Check the Always use Secure connection)
• Check the box that says Keep a copy (If can choose not to keep any copy in our server)
• Check the box that says Treat as an alias

For the Send Connector:

• SMTP Server: mail.ciimar.up.pt (Port 587 with Secured Connection TLS)

That’s it. You can now receive our Server Emails in your Web Client Account
